Catholic Charities

Catholic Charities supports Catholic welfare agencies within the Archdiocese of Adelaide.
Our primary role is to raise money by way of donations in order to partly fund the works of these charitable agencies as they help make the daily lives better for the disadvataged within our community.
While the agencies are Catholic welfare agencies they provide critical care for all needy people irrespective of their religion.

Catholic Mission

The Work of the Pontifical Missionary Societies

As the Australian arm of the Church's global mission agency, our work is to assist missionaries in spreading the Gospel both within Australia and throughout the world.
We also educate and encourage Christ’s faithful to participate in the work of spreading the Gospel. Catholic Mission, led by the power of the Spirit, proclaims the Good News for all peoples. Your prayers and material assistance can help us carry out this vital work of the Church.

Caritas Australia invites people into a just and compassionate partnership with people who are poor
  • through life-giving programs of aid and development
  • through education and awareness-raising activities

Caring For Our Priests - First Collection

In the Archdiocese of Adelaide, Clergy Care Council coordinates the support for all our priests - active, sick, elderly and retired - through the Diocesan Presbytery Fund.

The Fund covers such needs as:
  • Transport assistance and motor vehicle expenses
  • Health Insurance
  • Medical and dental expenses
  • Assistance with board and lodging expenses
  • Nursing home and hostel care

Your generous offerings to the Diocesan Presbytery Fund are vital in providing these support services to the clergy.
