Free lunchtime concerts

Following the first 2018 concert featuring West Australian organist Jacinta Jakovcevic on February 28, the next two recitals will feature Adelaide organists Amir Robin-Karas and Andrew Georg who will perform at the next two concerts on March 7 and 14 respectively.

Dr Amir Robin-Karas Musical Biography
1973-1982 – Piano studies in Cairo (Egypt) under Ms Nevarte Damadian (from Cairo Conservatoire)
1997-2000 – Organ studies in Christchurch (New Zealand) as organ scholar in the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament with Mr Don Whelan (organist and music director of the Cathedral)
2012–current – Organ studies under Dr Josh Van Konkolenburg
2016 – ARSM (Associate Performer of the Royal School of Music)
Currently awaiting results for the LRSM (Licentiate of the Royal School of Music) from last year.

Andrew Georg
Andrew is a versatile musician whose career encompasses church music, opera, choral music, and accompanying.
He studied at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, and was an Organ Scholar at St Peter’s Cathedral and Pilgrim Church, Adelaide.
He also works as a repetiteur for the State Opera of South Australia.
