The Australian Technical College - Spencer Gulf & Outback is located in Port Augusta, Port Pirie and Whyalla with expansion plans to include Roxby Downs and Port Lincoln. The College Regional areas around these major centres are also able to access the College.

The Australian Technical College - Spencer Gulf & Outback will provide training in the following industry areas:

• Metal and Engineering
• Automotive
• Building and Construction
• Electrotechnology
• Commercial Cookery

The Australian Technical College - Spencer Gulf & Outback will be unique in that students enrolled in the College will also be enrolled part time with a local school in a 50/50 enrolment agreement with DECS and Catholic Schools. The College will also utilise local Registered Training Organisations to provide the Certificate III training for the apprenticeship.
