Teaching Positions
Teaching in a Catholic school provides a unique opportunity to contribute to the intellectual, moral, spiritual, physical and social development of our young people.
Applications for Employment
Teachers must apply directly to the school that has an advertised vacancy. Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) does not appoint teachers to schools, and does not accept applications for employment.
Before commencing employment teachers are required to:
- be registered with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia
- undergo a police check
- obtain a First Aid Certificate for Centres and Schools from the Australian Red Cross or St John Ambulance Service
- undertake training in Mandatory Reporting.
Salaries
Salaries paid to teachers employed by Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) are competitive with those paid to teachers by the South Australian government.
