Early Career Teachers Program supports two groups of teachers: those who are new to teaching, and those who are new to teaching in Catholic Education SA. This support is provided across the metropolitan and country areas through:

• regular email communication
• mentoring and coaching individual teachers in collaboration with school leaders with high priority going to country schools
• assistance with school-based induction programs
• ongoing individual support for teachers including school visits
• coordination of professional learning programs and network meetings for beginning teachers in collaboration with other Catholic Education Office Staff
• research into the needs of beginning teachers.
