The Catholic Church in South Australia employs over 7,500 people working across the industry sectors of education, health, social services and parishes. The Church also has many volunteers who assist and support our worksites.

On behalf of the worksites within the Church the Catholic Church Endowment Society (CCES) holds an Exempt Employer Licence with WorkCover Corporation of South Australia. Being self-insured under this scheme provides financial and personal benefits for Catholic Church employers and employees.

The Catholic Church Safety Manual (CCSM) relevant to your Sector, (Education, Health, Social Services and Parish) is constantly reviewed and updated.

With the review of the CCSM Policies will be developed at Licence level and Procedures will be developed at Sector level.  Therefore, all reviewed Policies will be available on the website under the tab "Licence Policies" and procedures will be avaialble under the individual Sector tabs "Safety Manual".
