ACDAdelaide College of Divinity (ACD)
History Prior to October 1997, ACD teaching was carried out at one of the member colleges or at the Flinders University. In 1996 the Anglican, Catholic and Uniting churches purchased a common teaching site at Brooklyn Park and in September, 1997 the Anglican, Catholic and Uniting Church Colleges moved to what is now known as the ACD Campus. Teaching began on the new Campus in October 1997 and the Campus was officially opened in November that year. The owner churches have created an incorporated body to manage the Campus, the Adelaide Theological Colleges Campus, Inc. (ATCC). Catholic Theological College of South Australia is now the Roman Catholic member college of the Adelaide College of Divinity (ACD) and as such is committed to ecumenical theological education and is an essential contributor to the degree programmes of the Flinders University and to the awards offered through the ACD Other Colleges on the ACD Campus are Parkin-Wesley College (PWC - Uniting), St. Barnabas' Theological College (SBC - Anglican), Nungalinya College (NC) and Coolamon College (CO), the latter providing Courses solely in distance mode. The ACD is also a Registered Training Organisation offering accredited certificates and a diploma in the Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
