A number of CTC students completed their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in 2008 and were awarded their degrees in a ceremony held in the Flinders University Sports Centre in April 2009.

Below are some photos from our very successful annual one-day Seminar held at the ACD Campus on Darwin, Evolution and the Catholic Tradition.  

Associate Professor Stephen Downs welcomed everyone, and then Dr. Denis Edwards opened the seminar on Evolution of the Universe and Life.   Dr. Michael Trainor led the participants through Reading the Bible Today, and Dr. Marie Turner expanded on Creation in the Old Testament.  After Morning Tea, Dr. Trainor looked at Creation in the New Testament which was followed by Assoc Prof Downs' Mapping Religious Responses to Evolution.

The participants enjoyed their lunch in the sunshine and then in the afternoon session, Dr. Edwards looked at Theistic Evolution in the Catholic Tradition.  At the end of the Seminar day, participants broke up into small groups, and comments and some questions were directed to the panel. 

The day concluded with a prayer.
