The Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide is committed to appointing the best and most appropriate person to a position based on equal opportunity principles and a merit-based selection process. New staff are recruited and selected on the basis of the “best person for the position’ determined by an assessment of overall skills, knowledge, experience and relevant qualifications required to perform the role and as required by the role description.

During the next 5 years, our Workforce Planning Goals are being developed in a way that strives for excellence in attracting the best staff so that we can continue in the tradition of a coherent and responsive workforce to meet the challenges that the future will bring.

All new staff are required to undergo a police check in accordance with the requirements of the Archdiocesan Child Protection Policy. We reserve the right to appoint an applicant on the basis of the results of a Police Check.
