Walking With Love

Supporting women in need and building a ‘civilization of love’.

“The womb is a sacred place where life begins. In order to be pro-life, we must support the woman who is carrying that life in any way we can.” Bishop Eugene Hurley.

What would you do?
If you met a woman in need; perhaps pregnant and uncertain; perhaps suffering unresolved anguish at an earlier abortion, what would you do? How could you help?
At that moment you have a great opportunity to bring hope and healing, to make a real difference.

The local church community – a civilization of love
Learning how to walk with love is really about cherishing and celebrating life and wanting to share that love for life with others, especially those in need.
The local Church community is the witness of the love of God in your area. Each of us is a witness to that same love in our schools, in our workplaces etc. This is where we encounter others in need and where the need can be answered.

How can Walking with Love help?
Walking With Love Parish presentations brings together medical professionals, pregnancy support experts, counsellors experienced in abortion grief and others who will help you and your parish or school understand how you can walk with love.
Through the Walking With Love Parish presentations, you will grow in confidence that there are simple steps you can take in the support of women in need and the knowledge about where to go for additional support.
The initial presentation is one and a half hours in duration and can be organised for your parish and/or school (senior students and staff only). The program covers issues such as fertility, pregnancy support services, post-abortion healing and a practical discussion on how you can help.

The presentation runs for 1.5 hours and is designed especially for evening use in parishes, schools (with parents and staff) and deaneries.

Follow up sessions are available on request covering related topics.
